I was complaining in August about the Halloween marketing starting way too early.

I'm happy to announce that Halloween may now begin! I present to you my first jack o'lantern (1 in a series of 100).

Time Tripper allows you to magically view your future self by collecting a small amount of information and an uploaded face pic.

I don't like the idea of getting older (I don't even like watching loading bars on web sites) and decided to stop doing so a few years ago, both physically and emotionally. Still, I was quite interested to see my fate.

Below, you'll see the results. My future consists of hanging out in an alley with a beer I found under a nearby dumpster. My future, eh? Don't see how that's much different than what I did last weekend. Well if it ain't broke don't fix it I guess.

"Instant Rush. NO Crash!" is the slogan pinned to this controversial new energy drink. If only they had had this a few years ago I might have saved myself a few trips to rehab! But seriously, folks, it is being coyly marketed as a safer alternative to cocaine.

Of course there's the potential hazard of teens trying this out, enjoying the rush and thinking, "Wow, this is great! Imagine what the real thing must be like!".

Should be interesting to see where this one goes.
